Took my boys out on a little adventure yesterday. I wish I could say taking pictures of my kids was fun but it is more work than my clients. They pretty much want to do anything but pay attention to mom with the camera. I had to sweat, beg and bribe to get these but I will take it. There are so many more that I like but they will have to wait behind real work.
It never gets old taking/editing pictures of my kids. I love seeing their spirits speak to me through the monitor. Corny I know but their faces and expressions speak to me. Luckily most of the time they say I love you mom. <3 I am thankful for them every single day. Even when they are driving me crazy. Don’t be fooled I have that feeling daily. But I remind myself that in 10 years I will yearn for time where they wanted me to hug them and be with me. and in 20 years I will miss their laughter, screams and even fights filling my house. man now I am crying. Right now both boys are upstairs dressed as buzz lightyear and screaming to infinity and beyond. They are arguing about who is the real buzz and who is the fake. LOL 
these beautiful soulful eyes that look back at me. And that they are filled with love for ME! I am so blessed to have my boys. Today after a long day nothing was better than a chase around the play-scape at Terra Burger (we love that place, good organic food and fun for the kids).
The boys spent the day with their dad. It was the longest day ever. I am not used to being away from them that long. I was going through hug withdraw.

So my stay-cation is over. My hubby took a week off and we decided to stay home and work on projects around the house. It was tiring but we had a great week. We did go to Volente Beach on Friday and had a great time. The weather was perfect and it was no crowded which I loved. Here is my week in a nut shell
Can I just say I have the best dad. He took his vacation days to spend time with us and spent it working to make my house nicer. Me and leo really appreciate it.
Another exciting thing we did this week was added a new member to the family. We finally adopted a new dog and brought him home yesterday. He is a rescue dog from the organization Gold Ribbon Rescue. We brought home (insert cute adorable name here) yesterday. We still are undecided on the name. We were down to just Mac or Max but me and hubby are trying to convince the kids that ‘chewy’ short for chewbacca is the way to go. They are not buying it.
He is the sweetest most easy going dog ever. He listens and is very clam and even better is very well trained. We are all very excited and hope to fall into a routine soon. The biggest adjustment is going to such a tall dog. My old dog Duke is short and can’t get things from the counters now we have to be more careful because he can pretty much reach anything he wants.

I can’t believe my baby sister is going to be a senior. Of course we are planning on doing a lot of fun things for her senior pictures…we only got to do a few this time. spring break was fun for us. But note to self: don’t go downtown or into austin during SXSW the people and traffic are not photo friendly.
